It was a moment worthy of a Victory Chair Dance. You know what I mean—first your eyes grow wider than your sockets can hold, and then surely comes the inside-the-mouth squeal, the same one that you used in your high school library when you found out the cute new guy was going to ask you to winter formal. Before you know it, you find butt wiggling in your seat, most likely to the beat of the personal variety of victory dance music that’s definitely being hummed through a well-deserving smile. It’s for certain, there’s nothing like the victory chair dance, especially when the celebration is a long time coming.
I’d played with color and tweaked layouts and positioning and saved and re-saved Photoshop files for days but nothing seemed right. I was ready to just keep the poorly-formatted free template that the Stephanie Dee blog lived on up to today, until finally, like a miracle sent from above, one change made everything look right. Look like it belonged to me. I refreshed the page to see the changes and instantly and without warning The Dance took over. My sister’s cat watched me like I was an idiot. But I couldn’t hear her condescending cat thoughts, I was too busy butt-wiggling.
All this to say, a lot of hard work went into the new blog, and I hope that you, O loyal blog reader, really enjoy the new changes, like BIGGER pictures (On a photography blog! Who would have guessed it?!), and an easy-to-navigate categories menu. I cannot WAIT for the next few months and the photos that will get to live in this new, oh so clean space. There are so many exciting things happening with Stephanie Dee Photography this summer, not the least of which is our very first wedding of the summer happening this weekend! Remember Avery and Wade? I am so excited to document their love in just three days and share it with you all!
Love the new layout? Hate it and want to go back to the tiny baby picture size (oh, PLEASE no!)? Let me know your thoughts in the sweet as honey comment box below! I always love hearing from you! Hope that you’re all having a beautiful Wednesday, and may it be filled with Victory Chair Dances for all.
