It was a perfect day that encompassed everything wonderful about them: fun, laid back, wild, and entirely focused on Jesus. Jocelyn and Justin–or Justlyn and Jocetin, as it would sometimes happen–celebrated with the family and friends that have loved and supported and grown them into a couple that fiercely returns that love and support those around them.
No detail was overlooked. From the boy’s bowties, suspenders, and fair-trade shoes to the the handmade cake-topper monogram. From the meticulously DIY-crafted tableclothes made of antique book pages to the bridesmaids beautifully coordinated dresses. And it all came together in perfect harmony to compliment a day that ultimately was not about the gorgeous details, but instead two people in love, coming together for the rest of their lives. One thing is for sure, if these two love each other half as intensely and wildly as they dance–and Jocelyn and Justin? They do.–then they are in for quite an adventure together. And I, for one, can’t wait to see it unfold.
Introducing: Mr and Mrs Ogden. Oh, Joc… you are beautiful. I loved Jocelyn’s palette for bridesmaids dresses almost as much as I loved spending the day with these wonderful women. Work. It. Ladies. Somethin’ fierce. Our good friend, Bart the donkey was quite excited for some photo op’s. When I headed over to spend some time with Justin and the boys, this is what I found: learning to tie bowties via YouTube! Obviously I need to spend some time learning how to tie these bad boys. Loved the boy’s coordinating bowties and suspenders! Justin had this crazy minimalist phone that is really more a a beeper/calculator combo. Fortunately, it does come with a paper pad and pen so he can stil write “text messages.” Looking good, men. The men all wore sweatshop-free shoes. I LOVE this idea! So much fun! Married!! I was already impressed with J&J during their engagement session, but I swear they’ve been modeling every day since then. So natural in front of the camera! Oh, you two. This bridal party had to be one of the wildest, most fun I’ve ever seen! Jocelyn and Justin held their reception a the Historic Bellefonte Match Factory in Bellefonte, PA. In true J&J style, the reception was absolutely full of dancing all night long. The night ended with an absolutely breathtaking Chinese lantern send-off.
Congratulations, Jocelyn and Justin! It was a joy to be part of such a special event! Did you love this wedding as much as I did? Leave some love in a comment below and let J&J know!
