Maggie & Dan | TPC Potomac Wedding

Maggie didn’t lose the smile from her face the entire day. It wasn’t a nervous smile, and not one thing about it was forced. Even during the day’s more serious moments, Maggie’s eyes shown more brightly knowing that she was Dan’s wife. Every step she took was even more regal than the Duchess of Cambridge and—though I can’t prove it—I’m not sure if her drool-worthy navy Badgley Mischka’s ever touched the ground.

Dan never forgot that after this day, she’d be his forever. He’d found the girl of his dreams and won her over with his mind, and heart, and faith, and a little bit of Bruno Mars-esque good looks. Anyone who watched his eyes as Maggie walked towards him down the aisle knew: Dan would do anything to see her smile that way for the rest of their lives. And, though I can’t prove it, I’m not sure if his eyes ever let his new bride out of his sight.

Joy, love, and beautiful, beautiful light filled Maggie and Dan’s wedding day to the absolute brim, and then some. It overflowed out of Maggie’s smile and Dan’s eyes to their family and friends and everyone who came to celebrate with them from around the country. (And world!) Maggie and Dan’s love for each other and for those around them couldn’t have been more evident. I’m not sure that I’ve ever cried so much during a wedding as a photographer! Small moments between Maggie and her mom while she put on her veil and the loving mom squeezes during Dan’s dance with his mother had be welling up all day. It’s a miracle that any of those photos are in focus!

Maggie and Dan, a million thank you’s for allowing me to be there with you on such an important page in your story. Enjoy your photos, and I hope that years from now they’ll help you relive the joy of your gorgeously wonderful day!!

Introducing: Mr. and Mrs. Ware.

You know it’s going to be a great day when there are Badgley Mischka’s involved!
Maggie, you’re more beautiful than Kate Middleton herself.

The sweetest moments just minutes before Maggie became a wife.

Pure tears of joy.

Many thanks to Aaren for being my right hand woman during this wedding and capturing these shots of the men.

Fourth Presbyterian is beautiful, and just happens to be Maggie and Dan’s church home, and the place where they met!

These photos are pictured in the dictionary next to the word, “Joy.”

So much love.

Oh, just STOP it!

The light at TPC Potomac was an absolute dream.

Not sure why, but I just love the one on the left!

Thank you to Aaren for this stellar shot!

Can I take this light with me everywhere?

This one just belongs on a giant canvas in your new home!!

TPC Potomac was the perfectly classic reception venue for Maggie and Dan’s celebration.

Oh, goodness, you two…

Not only does Dan look like Bruno Mars, he’s got a few moves to rival Bruno’s, too!

This one cracks me up!

Quite the getaway car…

Thank you, Maggie and Dan and all of your family for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful, love-filled day!!

Neal Cox - Stephanie, these are beautiful shots — I love the classic elegance combined with a modern take. The lighting on the cake looks like a studio shot and you did it with little time or elaborate set up. You captured the amazing light in the shots you did on the way to the reception, those are ready for modern bride magazine. The selective focus works so well and captures the right moment. Best of all you captures the style and energy of Dan and Maggie — great work!ReplyCancel
