Rachel & Dan | Fairfax Engagement Session

I can openly admit it—I’m more than a little obsessed with my alma mater.

I was raised in a Penn State family and swore that I’d never go there for school, but when the time came around to pick a a school to call home for four years, I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. And sure enough that beautiful campus in the middle of nowehere-Pennsylvania became a part of my heart and my home away from home. So when Rachel emailed me about her upcoming fall wedding and explained that she too is a Penn State fan, I had a feeling we would get along pretty well.

Rachel and Dan met in a friendly game of flag football, where she impressed him with her moves, football knowledge, and of course her beautiful smile. It didn’t take Dan long to continue finding times for the two of them to get together for more flag football, and then excuses to hang out off the field as well.

I loved getting the chance to hangout out with Rachel and Dan and get to know their sweet personalities before their wedding day! We explored all around Roundtree Park, just down the road from Rachel’s childhood home, and Rachel’s family pup joined us for the evening. Make sure you check out his ears—they’re adorable! I hope you enjoy a few from their session and get excited to see these two in just a few weeks for their wedding day!

The light at the park was so wonderfully glowy! Gorgeous, Rachel!

Just beautiful, you guys!

That ear! :)
