After a dreary, cold and rain-filled week, I am so ready to wish you a happy Monday on this sun-drenched day! I hadn’t seen my vitamin-D-providing friend since I spent a gorgeous evening with one equally gorgeous couple. With the cold coziness of this past week fresh in my mind, it’s hard to believe that just a week ago the temperatures were pushing 90 degrees! At any rate, it was indeed a beautiful evening when I met Lindsay and Tim at Chapman’s Mill in Broad Run, Virginia. Lindsay had wanted to find a location that would be rustic and perfect for fall, and I had been waiting for the perfect couple to explore this gorgeous historic site with me. And with the colors of fall just starting to transform the trees, this session has me ready for drinking Pumpkin Spiced Lattes while wearing boots and jumping in leaf piles.
While we explored some gorgeous Fauquier County roads (and maybe almost got in trouble for a wee bit of trespassing… but you can’t blame us for wanting to use such a pretty fall road!), Tim told the story of the evening he was with Lindsay at her parent’s home in Myrtle Beach and he walked down to waterside to join her while she fished. But Tim was looking to catch something a little more special than a fish that night. He got down on one knee and asked Lindsay to be with him forever, and with a resounding, “YES!” Lindsey had made her once-in-a-lifetime catch. Enjoy a few of my favorites of this adorable pair!
One of their first takes, and a favorite!
LOVE this on the right. Lindsay, you are beautiful!
We got a few with Tim’s glasses (on purpose!) They’re his favorite accessory ;)
Both of y’all looking so good! Time for an outfit change and some possible trespassing… Whoops!
Love love love! Lindsay made their Save the Date sign out of canvas and chalkboard paint! I love crafty brides!
Honestly, look at this road! How could we pass those fall colors up?
