I knew before I even met Jackie and Kyle that they were two sweet souls. That sort of thing just comes across in all that a person does, and when I received Jackie’s very first email, the way she wrote about her fiancé, Kyle, the way she described her dream wedding day—a celebration not of people, but of love, including all of their family and friends—made me so excited to get to know such a sweet couple. And meeting them in person only confirmed my suspicions. Jackie is a kind, beautiful, creative heart (she’s also a photographer!), and Kyle, though a little quiet at first, looks at Jackie like he knows he’s found the most wonderful girl in the world. And that right there? That’s the kind of love worth celebrating.
Last weekend, we spent the afternoon exploring around Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia, the same place where Jackie and Kyle will celebrate their marriage next spring. They chose their future venue partly because of its rustic barn feel and its open-air space, and partly (or was it mostly?) because of the adorable barn animals that roam around the park—it’s like an adorable community petting zoo! I can’t wait for the next time I find myself walking around the park with these two, because it means that they’ll be MARRIED! Wahoo! But until then, enjoy a few favorites of their engagement session!
You guys! You are such pros!!
Jackie… that look is STUNNING!
The light at the park was oh-so-glowy and I was loving it.
This one may have killed me of cute love overload.
Forgive me for being just a little obsessed with Jackie’s second outfit dress. I need one!
So, so lovely. Both of you!
And this beautiful sign? Handmade by Jackie’s sister! So perfect!
And why not finish off the session with a beautiful sunset stroll in a field? Sounds perfect to me!
Enjoy Jackie and Kyle’s session? Leave em some love below!
