I’ve written it before on the blog and it’s true: I don’t specialize in family photography. My passion is meeting incredible over-the-moon-in-love couples and being a part of one of the best days of their lives by making sure they get to remember how they felt that day for the rest of their lives. But every once in a while, I have the time to meet equally awesome families who realize the importance of documenting life as it is right now.
The Scofields absolutely fall into the category of Awesome Families. Ashley contact me late last year to ask about taking 6-month portraits for the oh-so-adorable Connor and I couldn’t resist. I mean, just you wait. His baby blue eyes and bright blonde hair already had me melting, but then Connor flashed his precious smile and my heart turned into a puddle on the ground! Technically speaking, these are really Connor’s 7-month portraits. Ashley’s husband, Shane, is in the Air Force and was deployed during the month of December, and though we had to push their session back, it made it even more special and important to me.
It was a frigid day that we chose to wander Old Town Warrenton, but the Scofields and little Connor are absolute troopers! Enjoy a few of my favorites and let this little guy’s smile warm you up on this chilly Wednesday.
