I’m sniffling at my computer with a fresh cold and there is still a fresh coat of snow on the ground. Temperatures outside are still below freezing and my tea is still hot, not iced. That’s right, I’m still complaining about winter. Where are you, Spring!?
I won’t even give winter the satisfaction of yet another snowy photo on the blog. Instead, here are some awesomely bad stock images of the season we’re all hoping will hurry up and show its face. :)
I’m feeling warmer already.
Here’s hoping Spring finds its way to us quickly, because March is slated to be a busy month full of awesome couples and engagement sessions and I’m banking on some nicer weather! But first, a quick look back on February…
– Shoot Heather and David’s Valentine’s Wedding.
It was SUCH a beautiful day! If you missed it, you can check out their gorgeous St. Francis Hall wedding right here.
– Moving/Settling In.
Still happening, but progress has indeed been made! The walls were even painted this past weekend!
– Transition all clients on Shoot-Q.
Check! So thrilled to have this handy tool that is so convenient for my clients.
– Consistent blogging.
Definitely better, definitely room to improve.
– Get to the gym.
Yes! Although, I am getting mighty tired of the ol’ treadmill. Once this snow melts and temperatures start to rise a bit, I’ll be out exploring my new city!
– Engagement session season!
Although March is a wedding-less month for me, the end of the month is chock full of engagement sessions and I’m pumped! Get ready to meet some stellar couples on the blog in a few weeks.
– Turner’s 6-month pictures.
My baby nephew is becoming a little man so fast! I can’t believe he’s already six months old! His cute little face will be plastered all over the blog next week.
– Location scouting.
One of the benefits of being full-time is actually having time to check out new places and scout for potential shoot locations. Just one more reason I can’t wait for the weather to break—spending days wandering around the area and creating maps of great new spots.
– Researching new gear.
I love the gear I have and feel completely confident going to any shoot or wedding armed with the glass that I’ve got, but a few new lenses have caught my eye as of late, and I want to see if any of them might have a home with Stephanie Dee Photography. I’ll be hitting up borrowlenses.com to try out a few of them!
– A little surprise.
I can’t share too much just yet, but there’s a surprise in motion this month. You’ll just have to wait and see.
