I almost don’t believe that it was 9 months ago that I first met Jackie and Kyle. I’m not sure of it feels longer or shorter than that, but I am sure that I’d been anticipating this day for a while.
Jackie is a sweet, compassionate, creative soul who you know—even after meeting her for just the first time—cares deeply for those around her. Kyle, though a little quiet at first, is ridiculously smart (he’ll be attending grad school at Virginia Tech for engineering!) and when I first witnessed the way he lights up when he looks at Jackie, I knew how wonderfully matched these two really are.
An all around creative human with GREAT style and a photographer herself, I was so excited to see Jackie’s details for the day unfold, and I wasn’t disappointed! She somehow managed to coordinate every single detail—right down to the Marc Jacobs “Honey” perfume that she wore which matched the bee theme through the day! Everything about their celebration excused the sweet joy that Kyle and Jackie share as a couple. It’s shared between themselves, with friends and their families. I get to work with some pretty amazing couples and their families on a regular basis, but I don’t know that I’ve ever felt so warmly welcomed by a group of family and friends before.
From their first look, to their incredible orthodox ceremony, to their first dance as husband and wife and the heart-felt words spoken by their best friends, Jackie and Kyle’s entire day exuded sweetness. I am so honored to have been a part, and hope that you all feel some of the joy of their day through this pictures!
Introducing: Mr and Mrs Williams
I knew it was going to be a good day when I saw Jackie’s perfect lavender wedges. I can get down with a colorful shoe any day.
A sweet moment for Jackie’s dad to put on her bracelet…
If you think you’re in love with Jackie’s gorgeous headpiece now, just. you. wait.
Time for a first look!
Love love love it!!
Oh gosh, you two!
With Jackie and Kyle’s boho vibes radiating all day long, we spent a lot of time in fields for their portraits :)
Fields, you did not disappoint.
Heart is melted.
MRS. WILLIAMS!! Lady, you are the definition of stunning.
And together you are the definition of adorable.
In orthodox Coptic ceremonies, the bride and groom walk down the aisle together! I kind of love it!
As “king and queen” of their new home and family, they’re dressed in robes…
And back up the aisle… MARRIED!!!
Jackie and Kyle’s gorgeous DIY details included plenty of hearts (duh!), bees, honey, chalkboards and plenty of pretty pastels!
A first dance in a field… I approve :)
Jackie surprised her groom with a ukelele rendition of T.Swift’s “Stay.” It was maybe the sweetest part of the day, and that’s saying something!
A gorgeous reception dress AND time for sunset portraits? Yeah, I guess I’ll take it ;)
Gorgeous love and gorgeous light.
Then the party really got started!
Just the cutest…
Congratulations, Jackie and Kyle! I couldn’t be happier for such an incredible couple! A HUGE thanks to all of the friends and family who helped make their day incredible, and of course the following vendors!:
