It started as nothing more than an office friendship. Chats over morning coffee and post-work happy hours with friends. Jules thought that Danny was one of the sweetest and funniest men she’d ever met, and actually tried to set him up with a few of her friends, though never considered the he might actually be the one for her. But when a new job meant that she didn’t get to see Danny everyday, Jules realized that, actually, she would really really like to see him every day. Fast forward two and a half years, and there Jules stood in front of her family and friends, promising Danny to be true to him forever, and ensuring that she’d get to be with her best friend every day for the rest of their lives.
I almost always meet the brides and grooms that I work with before their wedding days arrive, but because Jules and Danny were living in Nashville and Atlanta respectively for much of this past year, they became an exception. Or at least Danny did. I knew almost nothing about Danny before I met him on his wedding day. Luckily for me, I had the great fortune of getting to know the beautiful Jules during my time at Penn State. Jules is one of the sweetest souls you could ever hope to meet—I swear that girl brings sunshine with her everywhere she goes—and so I already knew that Danny had to be a pretty wonderful guy if Jules had agreed to spend the rest of her life with him. As it turns out, I was right. Danny is a kind, hilarious guy with some sweet dance moves and some even sweeter love for Jules. Throughout their wedding day it was just so obvious how well these two fit together and I was so beyond thrilled to get to capture that during their glorious fall wedding day. Between the gloriously beautiful florals, the Jack Daniels favors as a nod to their love’s Tennessee roots, and a surprise dance number during their first dance, Jules and Danny’s wedding day was truly a dream!
